Corey LaJoie: Gains 20 spots at Dover

LaJoie started 28th and finished eighth in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Ecosave 200 on Friday at Dover Motor Speedway.

Analysis:

Despite a poor qualifying effort, LaJoie was able to find speed over the course of Friday's race, going from 28th to eighth. The Kaulig driver overcame falling a lap down on two separate occasions and was especially fast over the final stage of the race. Next for the Truck Series is a trip to Charlotte, where LaJoie hasn't raced in this series. He was 25th at Texas, the most recent intermediate track on this year's schedule.
