Connor Zilisch: Runner-up Finish at Watkins Glen
Zilisch finished second in the Bully Hill Vineyards 176 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Watkins Glen International on Friday afternoon.
Analysis:
The driver of the No. 71 Chevrolet truck made a spot start on the road circuit in New York on Friday. Zilisch would qualify well and lead a race-high 28 laps before taking the win in stage 2. The young driver would look set to walk away with the win but a late caution and restart would force overtime. Zilisch would lose the lead to Kaden Honeycutt and would have to settle for the impressive runner-up finish at the Glen.
