Zane Smith: Big Mover in Jack Link's 500
Smith finished fifth in the Jack Link's 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Smith would start 30th on the grid after qualifying was rained out and the field was set from the previous race's qualifying metrics. The Front Row Motorsports driver would not be deterred in his drive forward. Smith would come through the big crash at lap 116 mostly unscathed and that would be good for his prospects. He would battle to the finish and hold off Ricky Stenhouse Jr. to pick up his first Top 5 of the season.
