Chris Buescher: Recovers From Late Incident
Buescher made contact with the wall while running second late in Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway, but still managed a ninth-place finish.
Analysis:
Buescher was slowing down to pit when eventual race-winner Tyler Reddick made contact with him, sending Buescher's car into the wall. While he managed to still eke out a Top-10 finish, the contact ended his hopes of pulling off the victory after a strong day that saw him lead 41 laps. The series heads to Martinsville next weekend, where Buescher has just two Top 10s in 21 career races. He was 24th and 29th in the two visits in 2025.
