Chase Briscoe: Fifth-Place at the Glen

Briscoe finished fifth in the Go Bowling at the Glen NASCAR Cup Series race at Watkins Glen International on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Briscoe's recent hot streak continued Sunday at the Glen. He started third on the grid and battle among the leaders most of the way. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver would lead 6 laps in the middle of the race, but that would be his limit of time at the front. Briscoe would get around Ryan Blaney late and hang on for a strong fifth-place at WGI. It was his fourth Top 5 in the last five events.
