Chase Briscoe: Runner-up Finish in Iowa

Briscoe finished second in the Iowa Corn 350 NASCAR Cup Series race at Iowa Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Briscoe would start on the pole but William Byron would quickly grab the lead on lap 1. He would finish stage 1 in fifth-place. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver would take the lead in stage 2 and lead 81 laps of the Iowa short track before giving way. Briscoe would be a Top-5 driver the rest of the way and hold off Brad Keselowski in the closing laps to grab the impressive runner-up finish in the Iowa Corn 350.
