William Byron: Third in Kansas Truck Race
Byron finished third in the Heart of Healthcare 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway on Friday night.
Analysis:
Byron would make a spot start in the truck series Saturday evening at Kansas Speedway. He would pilot the No. 07 Chevrolet from 11th on the starting grid and inside the Top 5 by stage 2. Byron would lead just 4 laps for the night but he would battle among the leaders in the closing laps. Some last-lap drama would happen for the win but Byron would do well to hold off Corey Heim for a strong third-place finish at Kansas Speedway.
