Erik Jones: Fifth-Place at Texas

Jones finished fifth in the Wurth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

The Legacy Motor Club driver would earn his best finish of the 2025 season with a strong performance at Texas Motor Speedway. Jones qualified a reasonably good 14th on the starting grid and he'd pop in-and-out of the Top 10 during this 400-mile Texas battle. The driver of the No. 43 Toyota would shore up good track position late and that would pay off with his first Top-5 finish of the season in the Wurth 400.
