Ryan Blaney: Third at Texas Motor Speedway
Blaney finished third in the Wurth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Blaney would use the same patient strategy that his teammate Joey Logano used to work his way forward from the back. The driver of the No. 12 Ford would come from 24th on the starting grid to race among the leaders in the closing laps. Blaney would lead a couple laps late but a late-race caution and overtime would see him lose the lead to Logano. The Penske Racing star would cross the finish line third at the checkered flag for his fourth Top 5 of the season.
