Ross Chastain: Runner-up Finish in Texas
Chastain finished second in the Wurth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Despite a poor qualifying effort, Chastain would find the moves to continue his strong intermediate oval performances this season. The Trackhouse Racing veteran would come all the way from 31st on the starting grid to battle among the leaders late in this 400-mile race. While Chastain wouldn't lead any laps he'd battle for the win in overtime and finish just 0.346-seconds behind race-winner Joey Logano. The runner-up finish was Chastain's second Top 5 of the season.
