Kyle Larson: Third in Jack Link's 500
Larson finished third in the Jack Link's 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
The Hendrick Motorsports star would quickly race from 25th on the starting grid to win the first stage at Talladega. Larson would only lead 3 laps for the day but he would have a presence among the leaders for most of the 500 miles. In the closing laps he would totally buck his traditional luck on superspeedways and push Austin Cindric into the lead and to the win on the final lap. It was Larson's series-leading sixth Top 5 of the season.
