Denny Hamlin: Wins Toyota Owners 400

Hamlin won the Toyota Owners 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Richmond Raceway Sunday night.

Analysis:

The race would seemingly be in hand late and Martin Truex Jr. would be in control. However, a spin and caution caused by Kyle Larson would bring out the yellow flag and force NASCAR overtime. All drivers would pit under caution and Hamlin would win the race off pit road. He would hold on through the restart and keep Joey Logano at bay to capture the win. It was Hamlin's second victory of the season and fifth-career Richmond win.
