Bubba Wallace: Xfinity Races with Joe Gibbs

23XI Racing announced that Wallace, driver of the No. 23 Toyota Camry TRD in the NASCAR Cup Series, will compete in two upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series races with Joe Gibbs Racing.

Analysis:

Wallace will make his first start for JGR this weekend at Circuit of the Americas. He'll also get in the No. 18 Toyota at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course later this summer. The effort marks a return for Wallace to Gibbs' Xfinity Series program, where he last raced in 2014. The additional track time on road circuits is hoped to help Wallace better prepare for Cup Series races on these same tracks.
