Report: D-Backs have offer on table for Reds' Chapman

The Arizona Diamondbacks have reportedly been interested in acquiring Cincinnati Reds closer Aroldis Chapman and now an offer is on the table.
Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports the Diamondbacks have made a proposal to the Reds for the fireballer, who Arizona general manager Dave Stewart considers baseball's best reliever.
Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports adds that the Diamondbacks want to land Chapman with the idea of extending him past 2016.
Chapman is notorious for lighting up radar guns with his overpowering fastball and has earned 134 saves in his six seasons in the league.
The Cuban Missle has 21 saves and an ERA of 1.65 with 77 strikeouts in 43.2 innings of work this season.
Arizona is currently using Brad Ziegler in the closer's role.
