⚾ Hiatus Diaries: Stroman's beautiful bullpen owns the week
With a global pandemic suspending sporting events worldwide, athletes suddenly have tons of time on their hands. In the latest installment of our weekly MLB series, we look at how they've been keeping themselves entertained - and in shape - while self-isolating.
3 generations of Papis play wiffle ball
David Ortiz fended off the boredom of self-isolation with a family game of wiffle ball.

While Little Papi's stroke looked pretty nice, the same couldn't be said about Big Papi's pitching.
Plouffe doesn't want Kipnis babysitting his kids
Former major leaguer Trevor Plouffe sat down with Jason Kipnis for an entertaining interview on "Talkin' Baseball" last Monday and said he'll never let the Chicago Cubs infielder babysit his kids because of his horrible batting stance.

Plouffe said he wouldn't extend the babysitting invitation to Kipnis' ex-teammate Mike Aviles, either.
Moreland's baseball-approved barn
Red Sox first baseman Mitch Moreland converted a barn into his new baseball training hub, and he certainly didn't skimp on constructing it.

Whose indoor batting cage is better? Moreland's or Joey Gallo's apartment setup?
Chavis' interesting encounter with his neighbor
While Moreland rips dingers in his barn, Red Sox teammate Michael Chavis is trying to solve a couple of mysteries during his self-isolation.
So I’m working out outside today and while I was jump roping one of my neighbors decided to walk (slowly) to her mailbox completely naked while her husband was filming. I don’t know what that means exactly but what a journey this Coronavirus has taken us on.

So my entire life I planned on getting a tattoo of the date I made my MLB debut. With this down time I’ve been getting all set up drawing out some ideas of what It could look like and I realized there’s just not a great design to disassociate 4/20 with marijuana 🤦♂️

Eaton still soaking in World Series glory
With baseball on hold, Adam Eaton is using his downtime to think about better days, like when the Nationals defeated the Astros to win their first World Series championship.

The Expos uniform was a nice touch.
Turner does the 'Soto Shuffle'
While Eaton was continuing to bask in World Series glory, Trea Turner was also thinking about his Nats teammates, although he singled out Juan Soto and his signature batting-box move with this perfect imitation.

Spending time with the fam
A number of big leaguers are using the layoff to spend time with their families.
The Cardinals' Paul Goldschmidt had to deal with a large strike zone courtesy of his son, who was doing his best Adam Wainwright impression.
That’s a really big strike zone for @UncleCharlie50 😳, but he still got the batter to chase!

Meanwhile, Giants infielder Wilmer Flores received some hitting help from his mom, while Mets catcher Wilson Ramos was staying in shape with his brother, Efren.

Reds play long-distance game of catch
Cincinnati Reds players missed each other so much, they were willing to go to great lengths to play a round of catch, throwing the ball a combined 24,713 miles to each other (not really).

Still, the threading of all of these videos together made for a pretty cool visual.
Stroman's bullpen is breathtaking
Marcus Stroman's time off doesn't look too bad.
The Mets hurler shared a dreamy sight of his latest bullpen session earlier this week, making fans jealous of both his abs and the immaculate background he got to look at while pitching.
