The Philadelphia Phillies might not be finished tinkering with their bullpen.
A day after locking up Pat Neshek on a two-year deal, the Philles have reportedly had "ongoing discussions" with Addison Reed, sources told The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal.
Reed split time between the New York Mets and Boston Red Sox in 2017, posting a 2.84 ERA with a 1.05 WHIP and 19 saves over 76 innings.
The Phillies' bullpen finished with a 4.18 ERA with Hector Neris emerging as the team's closer with 26 saves. Reed has served as a closer with multiple teams, and could be an option to fill that role in Philadelphia if Neris struggles.
