Welcome to The Big Apple, Cuban Missile.
Left-hander Aroldis Chapman made his much-anticipated New York Yankees debut against the Kansas City Royals on Monday.
The flamethrower's first pitch - which came in a non-save situation - was clocked at 100 mph, and he struck out the first two hitters he faced before allowing a double to Paulo Orlando, who later scored on a single from Alcides Escobar.
The closer was acquired in the offseason for a package of players from the Cincinnati Reds, and recently completed a 29-game suspension for a domestic-abuse incident involving his girlfriend.
