After playing 24 games for the Detroit Tigers in 2015, shortstop Dixon Machado is antsy to get home to the major leagues.

Currently with the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens, the Tigers minor leaguer disregarded all baserunning conventions Tuesday when he took off from third mid-pitch with two outs to successfully steal home against the Indianapolis Indians (minors affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates).

Somehow, Machado had just one stolen base with Detroit last season, though he's nabbed a total of 116 in his minor-league career.
