Look: Valencia festival mocks Ronaldo with burning effigy
Valencia's annual Las Falls festival is no stranger to burning effigies of footballers not fancied by the local Los Che, having previously derided short-term disaster of a manager Gary Neville.

The Valencian community was up to its old tricks again Sunday, mocking Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo with a poor likeness of the stately Portuguese star, ahem, dispensing of some gold football's while bizarrely resembling former Manchester United mate Wayne Rooney.

Ronaldo's statue was subsequently lit afire and went up in flames, much like Valencia's season, with the Mestalla dweller sitting 14th in the table on 30 points, 35 adrift of table-topping Los Blancos.
