Mascherano dealing with thigh issue from Barcelona's defeat of Atletico
Javier Mascherano played out the remainder of Barcelona's progression into the Copa del Rey final on Tuesday, but his club has confirmed that the Argentinian suffered a left thigh injury in doing so.

The 32-year-old was introduced from the bench on 62 minutes in place of Denis Suarez against Atletico Madrid, but that short foray was enough to see Mascherano potentially sidelined.
"His return to action will depend on his recovery," Barcelona said in a statement.
It's the second time the versatile veteran has been sidelined with a thigh muscle issue this season, after he missed one match at the beginning of the current campaign.
Barcelona is on the hunt for yet another Copa del Rey crown to add to its already record tally of 28 successful conquests after Tuesday's 3-2 aggregate defeat of Atleti. Luis Enrique's lot has made four consecutive finals - the second time in club history after the previous run between 1951 and 1954 - and has not lost in 12 straight matches in the competition.
Los Blaugrana will learn of its opponent in the Copa showpiece on May 26, after CD Alaves hosts Celta Vigo on Wednesday with the scoreline finely poised at 0-0.
