Gijon's Douglas overcomes glute injury to face parent club Barca

Douglas has overcome a pain in the backside in time to take on his employer Barcelona in Saturday's La Liga bout.
The Sporting Gijon loanee sustained the cheeky issue when he slept awkwardly during a four-hour ride on the team bus, said club's physical trainer Gerardo Ruiz, according to AS, marking another bum note to an injury ravaged spell thus far.
The setback - specifically a problem with one of his gluteal muscles - has been wriggled off, however, meaning he'll travel (perhaps while sat on an additional cushion) the short distance to the Estadio El Molinon to host Barca this weekend.
"I'm physically well and available," Douglas confirmed.
