Marseille snaps up Henri Bedimo after Lyon exit
Marseille has landed Cameroon international Henri Bedimo on a free transfer, addressing the vacancy left by the sale of Benjamin Mendy to AS Monaco.
The 32-year-old has penned a three-year contract on the south coast following his release from Olympique Lyonnais.
"(I joined) because of the challenges the club has proposed to me. I like taking challenges even though I know it's not going to be easy," Bedimo said.
"I also wanted to stay in France. I have played here my whole career and I know the league well."
Following a stuttering beginning to his playing days at Grenoble and Toulouse, Bedimo established himself as one of the finest his position has to offer in Ligue 1 during spells with Le Havre, Chateauroux, RC Lens, Montpellier and Lyon.
He's won 40 international caps for his country.
