Brazil will enter the 2022 World Cup as the top-ranked team in the final FIFA rankings ahead of next month's tournament in Qatar.

The supremely-talented squad led by Neymar and Vinicius Junior helped Tite's team maintain its spot ahead of second-place Belgium - Europe's highest-ranked nation - after a pair of comfortable victories in World Cup tuneup matches during the last international break.

Argentina sits behind Belgium in third, while reigning World Cup champion France is fourth ahead of England to round out the top five teams in the world.

Italy is the highest-seeded team that won't feature in the World Cup - after leapfrogging Spain into sixth place - while Ghana (61) enters the tournament as the lowest-ranked country.

The top 10 is completed with the inclusion of the Netherlands, Portugal, and Denmark.

Meanwhile, Russia has risen to 33rd in the world despite not playing any matches in 2022 after the national team's suspension due to the country's invasion of Ukraine in February.

Canada is the second-lowest-ranked team in North America, trailing Mexico (13), the United States (16), and Costa Rica (31). John Herdman's team climbed two places up to 41 after its friendly victory over hosts Qatar was followed by a defeat to 14th-ranked Uruguay, while the U.S. fell two places after going winless in its last two friendlies.

The 2022 World Cup in Qatar starts on Nov. 20.
