Pachuca's Hirving Lozano carted off after horrific injury at Xolos
Hirving Lozano's move to Europe might have to be put on hold.
In a sad scene, Lozano's right leg was caught by Michael Orozco in the 13th minute of Club Pachuca's 3-2 Liga MX victory at Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente on Friday night. The Mexican winger, whose nickname is Chucky, was forced to exit the pitch on a stretcher and had tears in his eyes as he was taken to hospital.
Pachuca tweeted a photo of the injury during the second half.

The club's vice president, Andres Fassi, expressed anger at the injury after the final whistle, saying: "We're tired of telling referees to take care of Chucky, the player who is most hit in the last two years."
By ESPN FC's Tom Marshall's count, Lozano can claim to have been fouled 37 times in Liga MX this season, which is more than any other player.

Marco Garces, Pachuca's sporting director, admitted in January that selling Lozano was part of Los Tuzos' plans. His buyout clause is reportedly valued at €20 million.
"It is obvious that Chucky is going through a great moment and that he'll garner interest from important teams," Garces told ESPN Digital. "Once those offers come in it is impossible to keep the player. Letting him leave for Europe is part of our plans. We've always been a selling club. We can't resist the huge offers from Europe ... We hope to hang on until the right offer arrives."
