Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster returns to full training
Southampton welcomed back a familiar face on Tuesday, as goalkeeper Fraser Forster returned to full training for the first time since picking up a knee injury back in April.
The English international was pictured in winter training gear at the club's grounds, and the Saints will be pleased to see him return, as Southampton currently sits 12th in the Premier League.
Forster, 27, picked up the injury in a Premier League fixture against Burnley, when he appeared to land awkwardly on his knee in the opening minutes. Ronald Koeman said afterward he did not know how long the shot-stopper would be sidelined, apart from ruling him out for the remainder of the 2014-15 season.
In his stead, Dutch 'keeper Maarten Stekelenburg was brought in during the summer, making 14 Premier League starts. Paulo Gazzaniga and Kelvin Davis have started three league matches between them this season.
