Blackburn's worst-ever manager wins Singapore S-League title
If you type "worst ever Blackburn manager" into Google, the Wikipedia page of Steve Kean cruelly sits atop the results.
But now the Glaswegian has had the last laugh, guiding Brunei DPMM to Singapore S-League glory. Rovers, who he managed for under 22 months, unimpressively sit 13th in the Championship table.
The former Academica Coimbra winger is not thought of very fondly by the Lancashire outfit, which mustered just 10 wins in 37 Premier League matches under his wing, and would've accumulated the worst points-per-game average since the division's inception in 1992 if it wasn't for Paul Ince's ill-fated short spell in 2008.
He took charge of the Seri Begawanese outfit, which is owned by the crown prince of Brunei, in 2013, and the league title is his second honour in management after he guided the club to the Singapore League Cup last year.
