Manchester United unveils sharp new home kit

Manchester United released images of its new 2016-17 home kit Saturday in Shanghai while on pre-season tour in China, and shirt sponsor Adidas has paid tribute to the club's history with the two-toned red-split design.

Taking cue from the two-tone Newton Heath kit form 1878, United kicks off the Jose Mourinho era by honouring the past, with the honeycomb aesthetic a nod to the city of Manchester coat of arms.
