Napoli president: Koulibaly will be sold for right price

Napoli will allow Kalidou Koulibaly to leave this summer if a satisfactory bid is submitted for the in-demand defender.

The Senegalese international is attracting interest from various clubs across Europe and could soon depart Stadio San Paolo along with striker Arkadiusz Milik.

"Koulibaly and Milik are on their way out but we need to see what offers arrive," Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis told reporters, according to ESPN. "If they go, we know how to replace them. If not, we'll discuss it again next year."

Manchester City were reportedly in talks with Napoli about signing Koulibaly in mid-August but there is yet to be a breakthrough in negotiations between the two clubs.

Napoli reportedly lined up Gabriel Magalhaes as Koulibaly's replacement before the Brazilian moved from Lille to Arsenal for a reported €30-million fee earlier this week.

Manchester United also maintain an interest in Koulibaly, according to ESPN.

Milik, meanwhile, has been blighted by knee injuries since joining Napoli in 2017 and is reportedly being considered as Gonzalo Higuain's replacement at Juventus. Higuain is apparently close to joining Inter Miami in Major League Soccer.
