Bo Levi Mitchell completed 25-of-34 passes for 334 yards as the Calgary Stampeders held on to overcome the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for their first Grey Cup win since 2008.

Here's what you need to know about the 102nd Grey Cup final:

  • Hamilton was limited to four net yards of offense in the first quarter.
  • Calgary defensive tackle Demonte' Bolden blocked a Tiger-Cats field goal in the second quarter.
  • Stampeders punter Rob Maver was knocked out of the game when he was blocked by Hamilton defensive end Justin Hickman on a 45-yard return by Brandon Banks.
  • Banks scored Hamilton's only touchdown on a 45-yard catch in the second quarter after Calgary built a 17-0 lead.
  • Drew Tate scored a pair of touchdowns for Calgary on 1-yard runs.
  • Calgary running back Jon Cornish was limited to 25 yards on nine carries.
  • In the fourth quarter, the Stampeders held the Tiger-Cats to a field goal on a goal-line stand and Corey Mace sacked Zach Collaros on Hamilton's next drive to force another field goal.
  • Banks appeared to score on a punt return in the final minute of the fourth quarter but the play was called back for an illegal block by Hamilton linebacker Taylor Reed.
