Following the tragic death of Alfredo Di Stefano, one of the greatest footballers of the past century, Tuesday saw Spanish newspaper Marca publish a touching tribute to the player who shattered a number of records in Spain and Europe during his time with Real Madrid.

Despite appearing for three national teams - Argentina, Colombia, and Spain - Di Stefano never featured at the World Cup.
He turned 88 only four days ago.
