Nigeria's back line suffered a potentially serious blow in their opening match, as it appears Godfrey Oboabona's tournament could be over.
Oboabona was shown being wheeled down a hallway with a cast on his right ankle and his head hanging low at halftime of Monday's match against Iran.

If Oboabona's injury is serious enough to knock him out of the World Cup, he will join fellow Nigerian defender Uwa Elderson Echiejile, who suffered a muscle tear prior to the start of the tournament.
