Ashley Cole to retire from international football after being left off England's World Cup roster

Chelsea's Ashley Cole will retire from international football after learning he would not be a part of England's World Cup squad next month.

Cole commented after getting the call from England's manager Roy Hodgson.
"I got the call from Roy and agree England team should be about the young players. I think it best I retire from England team now."

Cole has played in three World Cup in his career.
England is expected to name it's 23-man roster on Monday.
