PSV snatches Eredivisie title away from Ajax
A victory over a side that's already been relegated would have secured Ajax's first league crown since 2014.
Instead, PSV Eindhoven won its second straight Eredivisie title thanks to its rivals' bitterly disappointing result on the final day of the season.

Ajax stumbled with a 1-1 draw against De Graafschap, as the capital city team watched the title slip out of its grasp thanks to PSV's decisive 3-1 win over PEC Zwolle.

There was, however, a sense of anxiety in the air in the away section in the second half as PSV fans attempted to stay up to date with the Ajax score.
Luuk de Jong helped ease those tensions when he collected his second goal of the fixture to give PSV a commanding 3-1 lead, with the away end erupting in celebration with news Ajax had failed to beat lowly De Graafschap.
