Gribble makes history in Honda by hitting all 18 greens at PGA National

Cody Gribble accomplished something on Thursday that has never been done at the Honda Classic since it moved to PGA National in 2007. Gribble hit every green in regulation during his round, a tournament first at the venue - according to Justin Ray of the Golf Channel.

"I really struck it well today," Gribble told Steve Burkowski of the Golf Channel. "I got a few things to work on, like try to hit a couple of more fairways. But, I played well, I mean having a lot of 10- to 20-footers, you're going to make a couple."

The 26-year-old made seven birdies and one bogey in his round, en route to a 64. It was his lowest round since firing a 63 in the second round of Sanderson Farms Championship, an event he would go on to claim.

Gribble's only bogey came in the middle stretch of "The Bear Trap," when he three-putted for a bogey. He would respond with birdies on the last two holes of his round.
