Michael Phelps took home his second gold medal of Tuesday, and third at Rio 2016, anchoring the U.S. 4x200m relay team to their fourth straight Olympic gold.

The race was never in doubt as Townley Haas got the Americans out to a big lead in the first leg, leaving the British and Japanese teams with silver and bronze, respectively.

It's Phelps' 25th Olympic medal overall, as he continues to push his podium record into the stratosphere.

Fellow swimming sensation, Ryan Lochte, swam the third leg of the relay, helping maintain the lead before handing the race off to "The Baltimore Bullet." Conor Dwyer swan the second leg for the Americans.

Earlier Tuesday, Phelps avenged his London 2102 loss to Chad le Clos in the 200m butterfly, besting the field to claim his (then) second gold of the games.
