It didn't take Conor Sheary long to make an impact on the Pittsburgh Penguins' top line.
The 23-year-old forward notched his first NHL goal Friday against the Boston Bruins, one-timing a pass from Sidney Crosby to open the scoring midway through the first period:

He was placed on the first line with Crosby and Chris Kunitz prior to Friday's contest, his second NHL game.
Sheary signed a two-year deal with the Penguins in July after playing parts of two seasons with their AHL affiliate in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. He went undrafted after four years at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
