VIDEO: Hanifin furious as Brown fools Ward on penalty shot

A controversial call turned a great save by Carolina Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward into a game-changing penalty shot for the Los Angeles Kings.
After Ward dove across the crease to rob forward Dustin Brown, the Kings captain was awarded a penalty shot when it was ruled rookie defenseman Noah Hanifin covered the puck with his glove in the crease.
Brown made no mistake on the penalty shot, leading Hanifin to angrily hammer his stick on the boards:

It was a questionable call, as it appeared Ward may have been the one to cover the puck with his blocker, not Hanifin.
