The Boston Bruins will have a "Monster" behind Tuukka Rask this season.
Journeyman goaltender Jonas Gustavsson has signed a one-year, $700,000 contract with the Bruins, the team announced Sunday.
Gustavsson, 30, beat out Jeremy Smith, Malcolm Subban, and Zane McIntyre for the No. 2 gig after signing a professional tryout with the organization before camp.
He allowed three goals on 45 shots in his two preseason appearances with the Bruins.
