Michal Rozsival has made the team.
The Chicago Blackhawks signed the veteran defenseman - previously invited to camp on a professional tryout - to a one-year contract, the team announced Saturday.
Chicago didn't disclose details of the agreement, but ESPN's Pierre LeBrun reports that Rozsival will earn $600,000 in base salary and up to $200,000 more in bonuses based on the number of games he plays.
He's expected to resume skating next week in his continuing recovery from a broken ankle suffered in Chicago's second-round victory over the Minnesota Wild during last year's Stanley Cup run.
Rozsival played in a bottom-pairing role last season, but his absence was felt when his season abruptly ended in the spring.
