Cody Franson could have a lot of offers to sort through when free agency begins Wednesday.
The Nashville Predators defenseman has spoken with many teams in the days leading up to July 1, including the Calgary Flames, Toronto Maple Leafs, San Jose Sharks, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Dallas Stars, according to Pro Hockey Talk's Dhiren Mahiban.
Franson began the season with the Maple Leafs before being dealt to Nashville at the trade deadline for a package including a first-round pick. The 27-year-old recorded a career-high 36 points in 2014-15 and is likely looking for a raise on the $3.3 million average annual value of his last contract.
