With the reported trade of Eddie Lack from the Vancouver Canucks to the Carolina Hurricanes, the floodgates may have opened on deals for goaltenders.
One name that is still floating on the trade market is that of New York Rangers netminder Cam Talbot, who Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman says is drawing interest from the Florida Panthers.
Talbot, 27, has been a popular name discussed among teams in need of a goaltender after he posted a record of 21-9-4 with a goals-against average of 2.21 and a save percentage of .926.
On Friday, TSN's Darren Dreger said the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and San Jose Sharks were possible destinations for Talbot.
