This summer, Mike Ribeiro's not available on a discount.
Ribeiro, who offered his best production in three seasons on a modest, one-year, $1.05-million deal with the Nashville Predators, has rejected general manager David Poile's latest contract offer, reports Adam Vingan of The Tennessean.
TVA's Louis Jean reports that the deal Ribeiro turned down was a two-year, $6-million offer.
The unrestricted free agent center will apparently entertain contract talks with the Predators, and various other clubs, during the negotiation window.
Ribeiro scored 62 points, including a team-leading 47 assists, in his first season with the Predators.
