John Scott and Scott Hannan are going to have to find new homes for next season if they intend to collect a paycheck.

Kevin Kurz of CSNBayArea.com received confirmation from San Jose Sharks general manager Friday that both players will not return to the organization next season.

Scott, a gigantic presence on the ice standing at 6-foot-8, appeared in 38 games for San Jose, earning three goals and one assist in the process.

Hannan, a former first-round pick of the Sharks in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft, continued to watch his production decline as he only managed seven points in 58 games to go along with 26 penalty minutes.

Scott earned $700,000 last season, while Hannan's salary came in at $1 million.
