Joey MacDonald signs 1-year deal with Germany's Schwenninger Wild Wings

Joey MacDonald is leaving the NHL for Germany.
The goaltender who spent 2014-15 in the Montreal Canadiens organization has signed a one-year deal with the Schwenninger Wild Wings.
MacDonald, 35, played all 26 of his games last season in the AHL with the Hamilton Bulldogs.
He earned a record of 10-9-6 with a goals-against average of 2.77 and a save percentage of .910.
The netminder has appeared in 133 NHL games in his career, posting a 44-61-15 record with a GAA of 3.00 and SV% of .902.
