Ducks' Beleskey tired of playing Blackhawks: 'I’m sick of them'

The Anaheim Ducks and Chicago Blackhawks are making each other ill.

The Ducks - whose two losses in their playoff series against the Blackhawks came in multiple overtime sessions - spoke openly about their feelings towards Chicago.

"I’m sick of them," forward Matt Beleskey told Eric Stephens of The Orange County Register. "That’s for sure. Of course I’m sick of them."

Ryan Kesler - who considers his team to have the edge in the series thanks to its commitment to throwing hits - thinks stress levels heighten when a series is so tight.

"I think you have tension out there when you have two really good teams competing, going back and forth, trying to string wins together to win this thing," said Kesler. "You're going to get tension there for sure."

Are the Blackhawks feeling similar emotions about their opponent prior to Game 5?

Andrew Desjardins believes the frustration isn't one-sided.

"It's getting deeper and deeper, so guys are getting frustrated with each other I think a little bit," explained Desjardins. "I think that's the way series go."

The two squads are locked at two games apiece and will look to aggravate each other once again Monday in Game 5.
