At least three NHL clubs are reportedly vying to sign Czech defenseman Jakub Nakladal.
The Chicago Blackhawks, Calgary Flames and Carolina Hurricanes are among the finalists to sign the rearguard, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported Monday.
Nakladal represented the Czech Republic at the World Hockey Championship, notching five assists in 10 games.
The 27-year-old registered 15 points in 50 games for TPS Turku of the Finnish Elite League.
Prior to that, Nakladal played for three KHL teams in four seasons and spent six years with Pardubice in the Czech league.
