Predators' Weber suffered subluxed kneecap in Game 2 vs. Blackhawks
The Nashville Predators would have been without Shea Weber even if they had managed to advance past the first round.
Weber suffered a subluxed kneecap during Game 2 of the team's playoff series against the Chicago Blackhawks, the team has announced.
In layman's terms, Weber's kneecap became unstable following a hit along the boards from Blackhawks forward Brandon Saad. He was subsequently ruled out of the remainder of the series,
The expected recovery time is four-to-six weeks following a medical procedure already undergone.
