Oddsmakers: McLellan favorite to be Flyers' next head coach
Kyle Terada / USA Today
The Philadelphia Flyers need a head coach and may have been given a gift when the San Jose Sharks and Todd McLellan mutually agreed to part ways on Monday.
After firing Craig Berube, the Flyers have many candidates to choose from, and the odds are out on who will take the reins in Philly.
From Bodog:
Person | Odds of coaching Flyers |
---|---|
Todd McLellan | 9/4 |
Dan Bylsma | 4/1 |
Mike Babcock | 5/1 |
Guy Boucher | 13/2 |
Pete DeBoer | 13/2 |
Kevin Dineen | 13/2 |
Benoit Groulx | 13/2 |
Jeff Blashill | 9/1 |
John Stevens | 9/1 |
One name absent from the list is Los Angeles Kings assistant Davis Payne, who emerged as a candidate Tuesday.
