Kim Klement / USA Today
The Tampa Bay Lightning will embark on the postseason without their full complement of defensemen.
Jason Garrison is expected to miss three-to-four weeks with an upper-body injury suffered on a nasty hit from Justin Abdelkader in Saturday's loss to the Detroit Red Wings.
Garrison ranks third among Lightning defenseman with 30 points, but has dominated secondary competition at 5-on-5, leading Bolts blue-liners with 62.8 Goals For percentage.
His timetable for return suggests he'll be available deep into the Lightning's first-round series.
