Lou Lamoriello will not coach the Devils next season
The New Jersey Devils' coaching situation has been an odd one this season, with Adam Oates, Scott Stevens and general manager Lou Lamoriello all taking turns as bench boss.
Lamoriello told reporters he won't be in that mix next year.

The general manager's hands-on, do-everything-myself approach had him behind the bench when he felt necessary, although Oates and Stevens coached the bulk of the team's games together.
Oates and Stevens both remain head coach candidates for next season, although Lamoriello could also seek someone new.
The Devils have had an unsuccessful campaign, currently sitting 12 points out of the playoffs with no chance of making it, so a change from the three-coach approach is needed.
New Jersey hasn't made the playoffs since 2011-12.
